Beyonce is slated to be featured on Jay-Z/Kanye West’s joint venture, Watch the Throne. On the album, Beyonce will sing the chorus during the track “Liftoff”:

During the listening party held by Jay-Z, he told journalists – including Rolling Stone – that all songs are only tentatively titled, and lyrics could be changed by release. Watch the Throne has no release date as of yet. But Jay left the party with: “Not far away. Soon.”

Beyonce’s latest music video for her new single “Best Thing I Never Had” premiered on VEVO earlier today. The Diane Martel-directed clip depicts Beyonce as a bride preparing for her wedding while reflecting on a past love.

The video features a wedding dress by Baracci-Beverly Hills, a reception dress by Vera Wang, and Beyonce’s 1998 prom dress by Nikolaki. Purchase the single on iTunes now.

Beyonce’s fourth studio album 4 will take the top spot on U.S. Billboard’s 200 albums chart with 310,000 copies sold. This mark’s Beyonce’s fourth album to debut at number one, and makes her only the 2nd female to have four albums to do so – behind Britney Spears.

Most notably, 4 reached the top spot without the aid of a chart-topping single. 4 also has the third-largest selling week of the year, after Lady Gaga’s Born This Way and Adele’s 21. During an interview with Good Morning America, Beyonce talked about the unique style of 4: “I figured, after all of these years, I’ve earned the right to artistic freedom and just make good music, and not try to make radio songs.”

Last Thursday, June 30, Beyonce surprised fans and youth groups at the Target Harlem store in New York.
