BeyoncĂ© will be the face and voice of a new women’s fragrance - Emporio Armani Diamonds. She will appear in print ads and belt out a song inspired by “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend” in TV ads to promote the new addition to the Emporio range that will hit shelves in September.

Armani, who has known BeyoncĂ© for seven years and attended her concert in Milan Thursday night (May 10, 2007), told WWD, “There is no one today who transcends music, film and fashion in the way that BeyoncĂ© does. There really was only one choice.”

“BeyoncĂ© is pure sensuality,” continued Armani. “She has that ability to mix it up: young and sexy or elegant and sophisticated, but always with incredible charisma and magnetism.”

Armani’s beauty licensee, L’OrĂ©al, is banking on the new fragrance to refocus the Emporio fragrance business, particularly in the U.S.

BeyoncĂ© Knowles has earlier promoted beauty products such as Tommy Hilfiger’s True Star, L’OrĂ©al Paris’ Studio Line and FĂ©ria hair care.

Hey guys. Sorry I’ve barely updated at all since we’ve been up. I’m going to try and resume updates normally tomorrow afternoon. I still have loads of pictures to upload to the Photogallery so I promise they’ll begin tomorrow. I’m also going to try to get the Vibe Magazine sometime soon so hopefully we’ll have it in a little bit! Just stick here and sorry again!

BeyoncĂ©’s getting all steamed up in the new issue of Vibe, on newsstands May 8 — but that’s just because she did her photo shoot in the shower.

No, she’s not naked — at least not physically. But emotionally? Sure, to an extent. While she still won’t talk about Jay-Z or Jennifer Hudson — except in what Vibe calls a “circular fashion” — the singer opened up about how and why she closes herself off.

“First of all, I don’t listen to the radio,” she told the magazine. “If I do, it would be in the car on my way to a venue — but not consciously. I don’t go on the Internet. … Unless I’m approving videos or approving song mixes, I don’t go. I don’t buy anything online. I’m scared. I don’t want to just give ‘em my credit card. I don’t wanna be hacked.”

She doesn’t even Google herself. “No, no,” she laughed. “I don’t need that drama.”

BeyoncĂ©’s got enough drama — from petitions about her “Deja Vu” video; to baiting blogs by Perez Hilton (who calls her “that Wicked B”); to being chased by the paparazzi; to being called a diva for her alleged rivalries with Rihanna, former Destiny’s Child member LeToya Luckett and “Dreamgirls” castmate Hudson (see “Beyonce Wants End To Drama Over New Drama ‘Dreamgirls’; Sets Tour”).

Beyonce will be on the June Issue of Vibe Magazine!! It’s been a good while since she’s been on there and she looks fantastic! I can’t wait to get this magazine to add it to my Beyonce Collection haha! Once I have the magazine in my hands I will definitly scan it and post it for you guys! If you guys go to the store in an effort to find it and find the R. Kelly one out right now, don’t think it ain’t out haha!
