On Friday night, Beyonce made an appearance at the pop up shop for Jay-Z and Kanye West’s new album Watch the Throne in SoHo, New York’s Mulberry Street. The store, prepared just for the physical release of the rappers’ collaborative album, was decorated with ornately-carved graphics on its walls to match the cover of the record. Also on display, was the custom-made Maybach car used in the music video for “Otis”. Beyonce is featured on Watch the Throne on the track “Lift Off”. The year’s most eagerly-awaited hip-hop album was released this week. Watch the Throne, the collaborative effort by Jay-Z and Kanye West had its exclusive distribution release on iTunes Monday morning. With it, a track titled “Lift Off” premiered – featuring a chorus sung by Beyonce. The song features production credits by Kanye West, Jeff Bhasker, and co-production by Pharrell. Beyonce is set to perform at New York’s famous Roseland Ballroom for a string of four special performances this month: August 14, 16, 18 and 19. With the tagline “Up Close with Beyonce,” the superstar covers the September 2011 issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK. In the September issue, Beyonce talks about her as a woman, Lady Gaga, friend Gwenyth Paltrow, stating: “She pushes her boundaries all the time. You go to her house and she makes you feel like you never want to go home. She is what I strive to be one day.”

Back in April, Beyonce was seen taking photos on a balcony of the Hotel Ritz in Paris wearing the same look from Gucci’s Fall 2011 collection worn on the cover. Also featured are: Armani, Hermès, Lanvin, and Alaïa. The parisian-themed spread was shot by photographer Alexi Lubomirski, with styling by Franck Benhamou. Beyonce made an appearance last night at the listening party for Jay-Z and Kanye West’s joint album Watch the Throne. The singer met up with friend Kelly Rowland as the party featuring other guests like Pusha T and Jada Pinkett-Smith was able to hear the entire album before its release.

Before the album began to play at the Hayden Planetarium over a light show with “orbiting planets, shooting stars, and black holes.” Beyonce is featured on “Lift Off,” the 2nd title in the album track listing. A new commercial featuring Beyonce has been released by L’Oreal Paris Israel. In the :37 second film, Beyonce promotes L’Oreal Paris’ True Match makeup foundation.
