When will Beyoncé, 26, and boyfriend of more than four years Jay-Z, 37, finally say “I Do”?

“One day soon — let’s leave it at that,”

the usually tight-lipped rapper told reporters earlier today at a press conference in Las Vegas, where he announced plans to open his third 40/40 Club at the luxury Palazzo hotel.

Would they tie the knot in Sin City?

“I don’t know,” he said. “It’s kind of comfortable here. If [Palazzo President Rob Goldstein] throws in the ring, who knows?â€?

At least they’d have somewhere to celebrate: His new $20 million, 24,000-square-foot club — slated to open December 20 — will come complete with 24-karat gold and platinum floors, 85 plasma TVs and — count ‘em! — five VIP rooms.

“Las Vegas is like no other place in the world,” he said.

In fact, he says he may even snap up digs there eventually.

“I’m going to ask [Goldstein] for advice,” Jay-Z said. “He’s pretty good with the real estate. We’ll see what happens.â€?

Describe your dream girl?

I really don’t have a dream girl, but I hate to say this, but my dream girl was a “Dreamgirl,� and she is Beyoncé. I would love to go on a date with her. I would love to go on a date with Selma Hayek or Jada Pinkett, but Beyoncé is the dream girl.

Why Beyoncé?

She’s a Virgo; she’s intelligent; she is beautiful; and I think she’s funny. She’s real funny. She seems like a fun girl. She’s like a dream girl.

She’s too old for you.

I’m 21 now, so I’m considered a grown man.

What about Jay-Z?

Jigga, it’s nothing personal. I’m older now and it’s real. I’m just being honest. But really, I’m picky. I change up. I could like something now that I wouldn’t like a week ago. I like to have fun. I like chicks who like to have fun, girls who are honest, and who are creative. I like creative girls because sometimes creative people can get a little crazy. They can be weird, and I can be that, so I need somebody who can do the same thing. We need to be on the same page.

Well duhh…who doesn’t want Beyonce for theyself??

Welcome back to BEYONCEDAILY.ORG! I made this layout in order to celebrate Beyonce’s 26th birthday and the 1 Year Anniversary of B’Day! I’ve been working night & day to get this layout up! Trust me, it’s been an adventure! I actually had to switch hosts since our old one was going down and I couldn’t upload ANYTHING. But now, all is well and we can get back down to business! BTW, Beyonce filmed her LIVE DVD last night in Los Angeles and JAY-Z, KELLY, and MICHELLE all came out on stage during the concert and at the end, Kelly and Michelle gave Beyonce a birthday cake! As a member of Destiny’s Child, Beyonce established herself as a Rhythm and Blues megastar. The group released eight albums and had four Number One singles on Billboard magazine’s pop chart before disbanding in 2005. Knowles continued a solo career that began in 2002. Her current tour opened in Sweden on May 3rd.

Knowles described her tour.

“I’ve been to Japan, all over Europe, and now we’re in America. I’ve met some amazing people and it’s really been a blast [fun time].”

Knowles’ success continues to grow. Along with an Oscar nomination for her role as Deena Jones in “Dreamgirls”, 10 Grammy Awards, her seven nominations lead the upcoming MTV Music Video Awards.

“I know it’s crazy. I didn’t even read it (about the MTV Awards nominations). I just saw it in the paper yesterday. I was like, ‘Are you serious? I had no idea.’ It really means a lot to me.”

NEW YORK — Any monetary remuneration aside, Beyoncé Knowles gets one major perk from being the celebrity face of Giorgio Armani’s Emporio Armani Diamonds fragrance.
Tons, and she means tons, of very expensive clothes, gratis.

“Now that I’m doing these appearances, they bring me racks of clothes — and I get to keep them,” she says with a giggle. “All of them. Even the ones I don’t wear that day. I have storage here and in Houston — I have to ship a lot of the clothes. It’s too many great clothes. I’ve got no complaints. It’s so cool.”

How many Armani gowns does she own? Knowles is stumped. “A hundred. A lot? It’s very cool.”

So is being the first celebrity face of an Armani scent for Knowles, who loves smelling good. “I feel the sexiest after I take a shower, and I have on my lotion and perfume and my pajamas,” says the singer, 25, who is dating rapper Jay-Z. “I feel comfortable, and I feel like I smell good. I love it.”

But if Knowles could bottle up any aroma in the world, “it would be my mom’s food,” she says. “When I walk into her house in Houston, it’s the most comforting smell. It makes me feel like a kid again. I can’t cook. My mom makes really good gumbo — we’re Creole. And she makes really good soul food. Yams, they smell so good.”

Earlier Thursday, Knowles was mobbed by lines of fans at a meet-and-greet in the Macy’s beauty department. She treated each fan, middle-aged women to tween girls, like a long-lost best friend. It’s a lesson she learned from Will Smith during a signing with him for the Men in Black soundtrack when she was 15.

“He was so nice to every person. I watched him. I knew he had to be tired, and I couldn’t believe how nice he was,” she says.

“We were the last people he met. I said, ‘I don’t care if I ever get that famous: I will always be like him.’ I always try to be as nice to the first person as to the last person and will make eye contact.”

Knowles, who’s in the middle of her Beyoncé Experience world tour, just earned seven MTV Video Music Awards nominations. And she’s still dancing in stilettos after falling down the stairs at her Orlando show while performing Ring the Alarm. Videos of the spectacular accident made the rounds on the Internet after being posted on YouTube.com, even though the star playfully asked the audience not to post it.

“Yeah!” she says of her high heels. “I have blisters and my feet are turning into crazy-looking feet, but it’s worth it. I guess.”

She plans on releasing a new album next summer, and then she will throw herself back into a movie role, preferably “something a little darker, but still a musical.” Adds the Dreamgirls star: “That’s my niche. I’m able to connect the drama with the music.”

It was a family affair for Beyonce on Wednesday as the pop sensation was joined by her mother and sister at the Canadian launch of their junior apparel collection, Dereon.

Dozens of fans packed a bustling downtown sidewalk outside a posh supper club to catch a glimpse of the superstar, who walked the red carpet with mom, Tina Knowles, and younger sister, Solange, just hours before she was perform at the Air Canada Centre.

The trio were decked out in apparel from the line, with Beyonce wearing a form-fitting black dress with gold print.

“It’s all about a young working woman, a trendy woman, a woman that loves style,� Beyonce said of the Dereon line. “My mom and my sister and I have all collaborated together, and we’re excited to launch it in Toronto today.�

Tina Knowles, the co-founder, creative director and designer behind the Dereon brand, was designer and stylist for Beyonce when she was part of the award-winning girl group, Destiny’s Child. She acts as designer and stylist for Beyonce and Solange as solo artists.

She said stylewatchers can expect to see a younger, more casual look with the Dereon line.

“Just really great trendy things, a lot of emphasis on fit, and just really cool stuff, lots of graphics and cool, young things,�

she said.

Gold was a prominent feature in the detailing of pieces showcased in the Dereon runway show, from embellishments and embroidery on fitted dark jeans, to shiny decorative prints on shirts and hoodies.

Heavy gold chains accented many of the pieces, which featured prints from leopard to camouflage.

Models strutted onto the catwalk to pulsating dance beats, including a few remixed tracks by Beyonce herself, as she and her family, including father and manager, Matthew, looked on.

Beyonce has previously collaborated with her mother on their House of Dereon fashion label. The brand is named in honour of Beyonce’s maternal grandmother, Agnez Dereon, a dressmaker who made custom clothing for private clients.

Beyonce said the opportunity to work with her family is “very important� to her.

“I know my whole career I’ve always loved working with my family. My father’s my manager, (and) I’m so excited to work with my sister now,� she said.

“My mother has always designed the clothes for Destiny’s Child and myself, and now it’s like a dream come true to celebrate not only fashion by a lifestyle.�

Dereon is distributed by Montreal-based Multiprint, and is available at specialty retailers across Canada.
