Rolling Stone’s Best Songs of the Decade
60. “Irreplaceable”
That acoustic guitar surge, courtesy of songwriter Ne-Yo, gives Miss B the courage to throw a no-good boyfriend out of the house. Yet another reason to love Beyoncé: at 13 letters, this was the longest one-word song title ever to hit Number One, breaking the 12-letter record set by “Superstition.”
50. “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)”
With a helping hand from The-Dream and Tricky Stewart, Beyoncé issued her definitive statement for ladies stuck in limbo with a dude who can’t commit. The swinging beat was irresistible, the video was jiggletastic, and the message was clear: Get it together, fellas.
03. “Crazy In Love”
The horns weren’t a hook. They were a herald: Pop’s new queen had arrived. Beyoncé’s debut solo smash, powered by that sampled Chi-Lites brass blast, announced her liberation from Destiny’s Child and established her MO: She’d best the competition by doing everything sassier, bigger, crazier.

Who’s Justin Bieber’s Celebrity Crush?

Rising star Justin Bieber has already stolen the hearts of tweens across the country, but the 15-year-old pop sensation reveals to OK! that Grammy winner BeyonceKnowles is the one who makes his own heart throb.
“My celebrity crush is Beyonce,” Bieber confesses to OK! after hitting the stage with the youngest ever American Idol winner Jordin Sparks at Z100’s Jingle Ball on Friday, “She’s amazing.”
The adorable pop artists even jokes about his new found infatuation telling reporters at Madison Square Gardenthat, “My favorite candy is Beyonce.”
But, given the large gap in age and the fact that Beyonce, 28, is happily married to rapper Jay Z, Justin may have to settle for someone closer in age.
Luckily, Bieber knows exactly what he wants in a woman when the time is right.
“I look for a girl who has a nice smile, and pretty eyes, and a girl that can make me laugh, because I love to laugh,” the singer, wearing a walking cast after tripping on stage a few weeks prior with Taylor Swift in London, opens up to reporters.
Justin, who sings about love in his new hit single “One Less Lonely Girl,” released his debut album My World with the help of R&B mentor, Usher, in November.

Beyonce: Artist of the Decade

It was 10 years ago that Beyoncé Knowles announced herself to the world, with the Destiny’s Child hit Independent Women. Since then the 28-year-old singerhas made the decade’s best single, delivered the greatest live show on earth, sung for President Obama and emerged as our last true star.
Why Beyoncé? Why this stunning 28-year-old singer/performer/actress/businesswoman from Texas now married to one of the decade’s other biggest stars, and worth something like $87m a year to boot, and not, well, take your pick…? Because she made not one but two of the decade’s greatest singles, with Crazy in Love and Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It), not to mention her hits with Destiny’s Child; and this was the decade when singles – particularly R&B singles – regained their status as pop’s favourite medium. (But her three solo albums? Pretty fabulous, too.)
Because at a time when the ubiquity of TV talent shows put the onus on those who could cut it live more than ever, she and not any superannuated rock star was arguably the greatest live performer of the past 10 years.
