This past year, Beyonce has released her greatest work in her album 4, performed for sold out crowds at the Roseland Ballroom, and announced her first pregnancy. In honor of Beyonce’s birthday, fans from all over the world recorded messages compiled on a YouTube video. Also, the great Stevie Wonder sang a special “Happy Birthday” song to Beyonce!

In a new video by Beyonce Parfums, Beyonce takes fans behind the scenes of her promotional spot for Pulse, her new fragrance. In the video, the expectant star talks about Pulse and what it not only means to her, but to her fans. The look and feel of the commercial is also discussed, while Beyonce explains how it was going to be a “fantastic commercial.”

Beyonce gave a rousing performance of “Love on Top” tonight at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. Before she began to sing, Beyonce gave a spoken intro ending with: “I want you to feel the love that’s growing inside of me!” The 29-year old pregnant singer performed the 4 track with joy in a Jackson 5-styled theme complete with sequined blazers and mic stands. After her powerful performance, Beyonce unbuttoned her blazer and posed happily with her arms around her stomach. Beyonce Pulse is coming next month, and now it’s time to kick up the promotion. Above, you can view the official television advert for the fragrance. The clip is set to the musical intro of Beyonce’s “Run the World (Girls)”, and a sultry Bey walking to grab the bottle of Pulse while uttering the tagline, “Feel the Power.” Access Hollywood also covered the commercial behind the scenes, and joins Beyonce as she shoots the clip.

A new music video for “1+1″ premiered tonight on E! News. After her dazzling 4 Intimate Nights with Beyonce shows, Beyonce wanted to release a video for she refers to as “my favorite song.” The music video features a love story, commitment, fulfillment, and of course a gorgeous Beyonce. With experimental and psychedelic visual effects, and innovative lighting, the short clip appears as a film. The clip was directed by Beyonce, Laurent Briet, and Ed Burke.

While the track is not an official single from Beyonce’s album 4, it is the first in many more videos to be released in order to show the visual side of 4.

Beyonce’s editorial takeover continues with her covering the September issue of InStyle Magazine! In the cover story, Beyonce opens up about things she’s never revealed about herself; not only speaking on her family and her Jersey Shore guilty pleasure, but also on herself as a person. “You might be surprised to know that the last thing I want to hear at a club is one of my own songs. I get so uncomfortable. It’s that awkward moment when you know that everyone is watching you to see if you’re gonna bust a move to your own song,” she says when asked what people might find unexpected about her.
