It is Fashion Week in New York City. Thursday, September 10th was the official night citywide for kickoff parties. This celebration is referred to collectively as “Fashion’s Night Out.” Rocawear’s soiree this time around was huge for several reasons. The lifestyle brand, purchased from founder Jay-Z several years ago by Iconix, is currently in the middle of a huge marketing and promotional campaign to celebrate their 10 year anniversary. Additionally, Jay-Z is releasing his “Blueprint 3″ album on 9/11/09, the same day of his sold-out concert “Answer the Call” at Madison Square Garden. 100% of proceeds from the concert will be donated to NY Police and Fire Widows and Children’s Benefit Fund.

Tonight, Jay-Z’s live at Madison Square Garden televised concert Answer the Call took place. Jay-Z had a line up of special guests to aid him in the release of The Blueprint 3 as well as raising funds for the New York Police and Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund. Beyoncé performed a shortened version of “Diva” with a few of her female backup dancers after Jay-Z performed a bit of “Venus Vs. Mars”. She did an incredible job and shut down her own man’s concert.

Beyoncé attended husband Jay-Z’s press conference for his upcoming Answer the Call concert in support of his new album The Blueprint 3. The concert takes place and airs on television the day his album drops on September 11, 2009 (Pick up the album! It’s incredible. Beyoncé even is featured on the track Venus VS. Mars). The concert is also a tribute to the 9/11 victims and will raise funds for the New York Police and Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund, the largest charity serving the survivors of first responders killed in the line of duty.
Who doesn’t love music’s crowning couple Beyonce and Jay-Z? Well, apparently some of their friends didn’t after the couple wed. Us Weekly reports that Jay-Z tells O Magazine that he and Beyonce’s small wedding offended some friends who weren’t invited.
The couple wed in a very small ceremony in Jay-Z’s NYC apartment with “very few” close friends and family. “The sad part is that we offended some,” he said of not inviting a lot of friends. “But people who love you understand. Because at the end of the day, it’s your day.” I think those friends eventually forgot about the offense though as Beyonce and Jay-Z threw a huge party afterward to celebrate.
Beyonce stopped by Jay-Z’s Inaugural Celebration Concert last night! She came out on stage, surprisingly, and performed Single Ladies solo! She did an amazing job! Watch below.
Lil Wayne, Jay-Z and Ne-Yo brought major star power to Power 105’s Powerhouse concert last night (Oct. 29) at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, N.J., but it was a surprise appearance by Beyonce that stole the show.
The singer entered the stage during Jay-Z’s set and performed the choreography from her new single, “Single Ladies,” flanked by two background dancers. Though she didn’t say or sing a word, Beyonce, clad in black stretch pants and a black turtleneck, drove the crowd wild when she flashed her extraordinarily large wedding ring at the end of her performance.

Rapper JAY-Z was spotted walking in New York City without a wedding ring on Monday (07Apr08) – just three days after he reportedly married his longtime love BEYONCE KNOWLES.
However, when a video cameraman for website TMZ.com congratulated Jay-Z on getting married, the hip-hop superstar replied, “Thanks, man.”
The couple’s representatives have yet to confirm the wedding took place.
It has been widely reported Jay-Z – real name Shawn Carter – and Knowles exchanged vows on Friday evening (04Apr08) and then threw a lavish party at the rapper’s TriBeCa apartment in New York.
Singers John Legend, Alicia Keys and Mary J. Blige and rapper Snoop Dogg have all since extended their warm wishes to the couple. -Contact Music

Beyonce Knowles is spending St. Valentine’s Day gorging herself with chocolate because the special day falls at the end of a lengthy diet. The Crazy In Love singer admits she has been watching what she eats for the past two months – so she’d look trim and sexy next to Tina Turner at the Grammy Awards. And now the big event has passed, Knowles plans to celebrate the most romantic day of the year in style. She explains..
“I dieted before the Grammys because, after the holidays, I needed to drop a couple pounds. So, now I can eat whatever I want. I want a lot of chocolate. A lot of carbs.” “(It’ll be) really quiet – a great movie and a great meal.”

Beyonce and Jay-Z were seen at JFK Airport in New York on December 8, 2007. They came back after their trip in Paris for Jay’s birthday, Beyonce was seen looking gorgeous…obviously haha!
