NOVEMBER XVIII was a milestone for Beyonce as she released her third solo album, I AM… SASHA FIERCE. One year ago today, the album that has held many hits, was officially released. Beyonce is currently on her I Am… Tour which is in support of this incredible album. The album is still going strong with it’s newest single “Video Phone” just getting its release.

I Am… Sasha Fierce Deluxe Edition is the newest version/release of Beyonce’s latest album. As far as I can tell, the 2 disc original version of the album has been replaced with just 1. This Deluxe Edition also includes bonus track Poison and (possibly) Video Phone Featuring Lady GaGa. The cover art is the same as the first Deluxe Edition except in color and a small change in text. You can view the high resolution cover in the gallery by clicking on the thumbnail below. This release will coincide with her new DVD on November 24, 2009.
Here they are! New and final details on Beyonce’s upcoming CD/DVD release: I Am… Yours And Intimate Performance at Wynn Las Vegas! The CD comes with 2 discs, both containing the performances of the DVD. While the DVD contains the full-concert performance including 15-minute behind the scenes footage. This is definitely a hotly-anticipated release for us Beyonce fans and we will finally be able to get it on NOVEMBER 24, 2009! Make sure you go out and either pre-order the CD/DVD package, the DVD solo, or pick it up on that day! Beyoncé is releasing a brand new edition of her latest album; I Am… Sasha Fierce Platinum Edition in Australia. The CD will include the 19 tracks received on the original itunes Deluxe edition of the album as well as a “new” track titled “Honesty.” Also included is a DVD which features every music video released from the album as well as a look behind the scenes of the making of them. The I Am… Sasha Fierce Platinum Edition will be released on the Queen Bee’s birthday – September 4, 2009.

Tonight, BET aired Access Granted: Above and Beyoncé where they showed behind the scenes clips of Diva, Halo, Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It), If I Were a Boy and Ego Featuring Kanye West! Beyoncé also did a commentary throughout the entire show so we find out more from the Queen herself! They also showed the World Premiere of the music video for Ego Featuring Kanye West! Beyoncé is releasing a new remix album and DVD collection on June 16 called Above and Beyoncé Video Collection and Dance Mixes – and PEOPLE.com has your first look at the cover art.
Among the tracks included on the collection is a remix of her song “Ego” featuring a guest appearance by Kanye West. “The song is fun,” says Beyoncé. “It talks about someone being very confident and having this swagger when they walk and when they talk.”
As for nabbing West, well, Beyoncé says the rapper – known for his outsized personality – was a good match. Recounting her conversation with West, Beyoncé says he agreed to do it, telling her, ” ‘Okay, so you have a song about an ego and you want me on the record?’ He’s like, ‘I love it. I’ll do it.’ ”
Above and Beyoncé will be available at Wal-Mart everywhere and J&R Music stores in New York City beginning June 16. Source:People.Com
It is now NOVEMBER XVIII and I Am… Sasha Fierce is IN STORES NOW!!!! Make sure you all go out and buy this incredible album and support Beyonce in her career. I promise you that this album is definitely worth your money and time. Beyonce has worked over a year to bring this album to the fans. I personally believe this album will only help her effort in becoming iconic. I really hope you guys go out and buy the album or order it online. Maybe even both versions haha! I know that’s what I’m going to do in my Beyonce t-shirt. I really believe this album is amazing and Beyonce’s best release to date. Beyonce’s cover of Etta James’ “At Last” will lead the soundtrack for “Cadillac Records,” due Dec. 2 from Columbia. Beyonce stars as James in the film, which chronicles the rise and fall of iconic label Chess Records.
“I realized that Etta James was so unapologetic, bold and strong that playing her was a big risk for me,” Beyonce recently told Billboard of the experience. “It gave me the confidence and the push to challenge myself a little more with my music.”
The soundtrack, which will be available in both single- and double-disc editions, also includes tracks from Mos Def (portraying Chuck Berry), Jeffrey Wright (as Muddy Waters), Columbus Short (as Little Walter) and Eamonn Walker (as Howlin’ Wolf).
Raphael Saadiq, Beyonce’s sister Solange, Mary Mary, Nas, Buddy Guy and Elvis Presley also have songs on the album.
“Cadillac Records” opens Dec. 5 in U.S. theaters. “People will be most surprised that the glamorous Beyonce allowed herself to be seen in the desperate straits that Etta went through, including her heroin addiction,” says Sony BMG Music Entertainment chairman Andrew Lack, who produced “Cadillac Records” with Sony BMG Films executive VP Sophia Sondervan. “That’s a Beyonce I don’t think anyone’s seen yet.”

As you may already know, the bootylicious singer is releasing her third solo studio album “I Am … Sasha Fierce.” Yep, it’s finally here and it’s a double treat. Her first release since the 2006 Grammy-winning multi-platinum-selling “B-Day” is a 2-disc compilation – one that features ballads, and another one which has more dance tracks.
So you’re wondering what “Sasha Fierce” is? Well, that would be Beyonce’s ego. Bey explains…
“The new record is a double album and has two covers, like a magazine would have two covers. One of the covers is named I Am and the second cover is named Sasha Fierce. That is my alter ego and now she has a last name. I have someone else that takes over when it’s time for me to work and when I’m on stage, this alter ego that I’ve created that kind of protects me and who I really am. That’s why half the record, I Am is about who I am underneath all the makeup, underneath the lights, and underneath all the exciting star drama. And Sasha Fierce is the fun, more sensual, more aggressive, more outspoken side and more glamorous side that comes out when I’m working and when I’m on the stage.”
The album features 16 tracks including her latest single “If I Were A Boy.”
