Chime For Change – the new charitable initiative unveiled by Gucci last month – will take over London this summer with a concert to raise funds and awareness for girls’ and women’s empowerment.

At a breakfast in London this morning, charity ambassador Salma Hayek confirmed that Beyoncé and John Legend will headline The Sound Of Change Live, due to be held in London’s Twickenham Stadium on 1 June. Ellie Goulding, Florence + the Machine, Haim, Timbaland and Rita Ora are also set to perform, with more acts to be announced.

Beyoncé announced details of the concert via VT. ‘Our goal is to all for change in the loudest voice possible,’ she said in the brief black-and-white clip.

Tickets for the event will go on sale tomorrow morning at 9am GMT at www.chimeforchange.org. And if you don’t manage to bag any then you don’t have to miss out – the concert will be televised worldwide.
